Red Carpet Fashion
As per usual, the Grammy's red carpet was filled with a lot of dope outfits; from the host (James Corden) to Demi Lovato. There were also a lot of outfits that just didn't do it for me. With that being said, here are a few of my favorites and not-so favorites:
Not only did he rock the show, he rocked the carpet too! Sporting a blush blazer and slacks, he makes this look so chic and wearable. Complementing his look, his wife also opted for a blush colored sequin gown. She just radiated and most definitely did not disappoint.
OK, can we talk about this look?! Thanks. Demi is giving me mermaid vibes and I love it. From her perfectly glowing skin to her beachy weaves, this look totally hit the mark. Not to mention, I am a sucker for all things mesh. In my opinion, Demi's never looked better!
Nick Jonas rocks this black Balmain studded blazer and it's giving me all sorts of life. You can never go wrong with an all black look. I particularly liked that he matched materials with his shoes and blazer. I'm sure he had no problems getting "oh so close" to the ladies last night.
Diplo brought out his best accessories last night: his two sons, and looked sharp too! To be perfectly honest, I'm not the biggest sweatshirt he's wearing under the blazer on its own, but paired with the rest of the look it really works. I also loved the pop of color on his shoes, it gives the look an edgier vibe.
Yes, Erika Jayne brightened up my night! I died over this Balmain mini. This dress is so fun yet sophisticated, and pairing the look with a top knot makes it more effortless. Her glam never disappoints, and neither does she!
DNCE showed up in looks that complemented each other yet still represented each artist's style. I'm totally down for groups dressing in similar color palettes and textures. It is more esthetically pleasing to the eye; plus, who wants to get a headache when watching your favorite artists on the red carpet?!
The time has come to throw some shade. JLo, this look was not cute. I can't stand the bow; it broke up the look and made it confusing for me. Without it, it would've been a nice (bridesmaid's) dress. It's just not Grammy's material, and she could've done way better.
